Apocalypse Watch

• Intelligent - Definitely a big turn on for me; although sometimes I do think ignorance is bliss. But I think I will settle for intelligence over beauty any day, if I find them together in a package, nothing better. I firmly believe your intelligence reflects your attitude towards life and helps you take on life more head on.

• Educated - Related to point one. A decent education is a must.

• Independent - Must have her own individuality in this world and have her own life, which will eventually mingle with mine of course. It is very important that she becomes my partner and not subordinate or dependent. She must respect her independence and should not give it up for anything, including me, as I would do the same. She must also respect my and her private space.

• Opinionated - should be opinionated and be aware and concerned about the world around us. Chicks who want to lock themselves in a small shell of their own along with their family are a strict no-no. Our opinions need not match and she shouldn’t give up her opinions at any cost, even for me. On the same token, she shouldn’t expect me to give up mine.

• Broadminded and a rebel - Must be broadminded, optimistic, non-biased and be able to apply logic to most things rather than seeing them through the lenses of the society. Also, a very important is that she should be ready to rebel against the society for her opinions and beliefs, should she believe she is right. By no means should she ever let her actions be influenced by the fear, pressure or beliefs of the society. If I rebel over a cause which she thinks is right, I would expect her by my side, however, is she thinks the cause is wrong, I wouldn’t want her to give up her beliefs just for me.

• Equality - I firmly believe that both the individuals are equal in all ways in a relationship. I will be happy to cook and clean every alternate day as long as she shares the same responsibilities as I do. It is important for her to understand, that on the same token, she will not get any extra concession just because she belongs to the fairer sex.

• Ambitious and Career Oriented - Should have her own goals in life and must strive towards achieving them. Also, must understand my goals and should be supportive in achieving those.

• Presentable - Need not be a beauty queen, but good looking, presentable and be conscious about her looks and fashion. Should know how to take care of herself and her looks. Cleanliness is an absolute must because I am a cleanliness freak. A big plus is she plays a sport or exercises regularly and is tireless in bed. Should be good in bed and not shy.

• Extrovert - Definitely should be outgoing and be able to socialize and be comfortable with people. Must have passon for something, be it music, dance, anything.

• Understanding - and compromising, any relation needs compromises, but it is a two sided coin. She should be able to understand this and work with me on anything. I will gladly go and kill myself at the opera or a play for her, but she should be happy to come to a soccer match with me as well.

• Religious belifs - Must respect my religious beliefs, which are none. I am happy to respect her religious beliefs, whatever they maybe, but on the same token, she should respect that I am an Atheist and will always remain one. I hate when people try to push you towards religion but don't want you to push them away from it. Ideally should either be an atheist or not believe heavily in religion and should never bug me about it..

• Travel, socializing - Must love travel as much as I do, should have a desire to see the whole world and must not be afraid to try different experiences in life. She should love clubbing, dancing and socializing. She should love unplanned drives in the night and instinctive unplanned vacations.

• Adventurous and energetic - Speaks for itself, should stand along with in all activities, be it skydiving, bungee jumping, cave diving, biking or kayaking in the Antarctic. She should be enthusiastic and mischievous, I don't mind if we end up in jail together.
